Going Out for the First Time - An Interview

The best advice I can give about going out for the first time would be – don’t be afraid to ask for help.  I know this can be difficult because I have a very independent side to me – and that ultimately is the goal – but it is okay to ask for help.  I have learned that building a community around me - friends, family and people that I enjoy being around and to get out and go with, it’s just wonderful to have someone there to support you in your first outings.  And then, you will find as well, there will be some outings you enjoy taking by yourself but it is also very fun to have someone with you, as well as helpful.  So don’t be afraid to ask for help.
