I think the most important thing, if you are newly injured, to remember – when you’ve got a lot of questions going on – is that love is still very much an option for you.  I honestly thought that I would never get married.  Not so much because I couldn’t walk but more so because of the care I would have to give myself.  The cathing, the daily regiments that were different than the ordinary.  And I thought that would prevent me from finding true love.  But in fact, I think it is what gives me even a better marriage.  My husband loves me just the way I am.  Challenges and all.  And because of this, I have a great, wonderful marriage.  So love is definitely an option.  Don’t give up on love at all.
